The ultimate goal of the Redeeming River Music Ministry is to lead people into the presence of God through exuberant praise and deep worship. John 4:23 declares, "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks." Worship combined with a commitment to musical excellence is the core of this ministry.

  • 11:00 a.m. - Morning Worship Service
  • 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - Rehearsal
  • 6:20 p.m. - Ministry Preparation
  • 6:30 p.m. - Evening Worship Service

 

Micah Tsakalas, Minister of Music

Micah is a Baltimore native and no stranger to ministry. At the age of 12, he became the Music Director at the Metropolitan Church of God where his parents have served as Pastors for over 20 years. The Lord used this time to create a firm foundation for a life of ministry. Micah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. Since his graduation in 2001, he has served at two churches and is the Choral and General Music teacher at Kenwood High School in Essex, Maryland.
